In the small town of Forks, Bella Swan has discovered the secret of the world’s shadows. The existence of vampire and werewolves has turned her once clumsy and slow world upside down. Caught between the hearts of two opposites, she struggles to hear her own. Edward’s plea to marry her seems tempting, but the idea of giving up her own life terrifies her. Hating to admit it, the idea of Jacob as hers still lingers in the back of her mind. Here is where the story changes.
This is a post-New Moon role-playing site that is based off of the Twilight Saga, but now we’ve added a twist. Bella isn’t certain to pick Edward anymore and everything is becoming chaotic in the hidden world. New races have sprung forth. Were-animals like tigers, wolves, foxes, and leopards now exist alongside the vampires and Quileute shifters. Unknowing where these races came from, there isn’t exactly a friendliness between the species, but especially between the vampires and the new races. In the vampire’s eyes, they are like the shifters: sworn enemies. Genetic alteration is thought to be behind the rise in such rare species, but no clues as to the creator have been tracked. But, with a spike in killings mixed with unknown scents left behind, there is thought to be another species in the making; something stronger and more dangerous than even the newborn vampires themselves. This species will be revealed at a later date, when character plotlines have become fairly developed and there is a strong plot on the board.
As for Victoria’s hunt for Bella, it is still on, but has been put on hold as the new species have caused much concern for the vampires…even the wild ones. Riley remains as a newborn under Victoria’s reign, but is no longer under her love spell. For the most part, he remains untouched and free. The Volturi have knowledge of the newer races, and are taking caution in how the situation is handled. They only keep rule under the vampire world, but the edginess of the vampires makes them wary of what could potentially happen. All steps are being taken to find out who is behind this new medical experiment. But, time is of the essence…it won’t be long before the humans start to become suspicious. And if word gets out into the human world, all chaos will break loose. It may end that way anyway with this new dark species being bred, but only time will tell. For now, all of the races are taking caution to this new threat…living their lives as normal, but with a keen eye for any suspicious activity or foul play.[/size]
