It was a typical day in Forks. The sun was out, but covered by thick clouds making it barely visible outside-which the slight drizzle didn’t help in that matter, at least not the humans of Forks. Bella could see clearly for miles, even through the rain and dim lighting. Her vision was perfect, like many aspects of her Vampirism. She turned her head, her bright golden eyes catching movement outside of the Cullen home- her home. Tilting her head to the side she listened a moment only to have her curiosity quickly answered- a herd of deer were making their way through. Her lips pressed together in indifference, knowing there was a great possibility of that family of deer becoming her family’s next meal. It was better than the alternative, she knew that, but it still bothered her a little bit. She quickly reminded herself that as a human she had eaten hamburgers which came from cows and what she was doing now-what her entire family was doing- wasn’t any different.
Bella turned away from the window, pushing the thought from her mind. A new topic instantly finding its way to the front of her mind, Monday was tomorrow meaning school would be back in session. And her beautiful and intelligent daughter was finally in high school. Nessie had grown so much and was becoming someone both her and Edward were proud of, despite how fast her relationship with her best friend, Jacob, was moving. Bella danced gracefully across the wooden floor and stopped at the foot of the stairway. She wanted Nessie’s first year in high school to be a memorable one, or at least her first day, and the first person that had come to mind was Alice.
A delicate smile came to her lips as she thought about her pixie like sister-in-law, Alice. She was more than just a sister to Bella since the time she first met Alice she had always been a great friend and over the years that bond grew stronger. “Alice,” She called out softly, know no matter where the other woman was in the house she would have heard her, or at least seen her. Alice was the best at planning, well, anything, and she knew she’d be more than willing to give Bella at helping hand at giving Renesemee a perfect first day at school, but first she’d have to figure out, what exactly, that was going to be.

It was just typical weather in Forks and she could see perfectly clear even with the thick rain. She was looking for something to wear that morning. Something comfortable because she wanted to eat, she wanted to be perfect for Nessie's first day at school.
Nessie was growing up fast, and though she was very proud of her niece she was afraid of how fast she was changing. With the little references of the other Hybrid it was really complicated to know what was going to happen next and without being able to watch her future it was even more difficult. Not to say all her future went black when she was near Jacob.
She shook her head and kept looking in her huge walk-in closet until she found something to wear. It wasn't the best outfit to go hunting so she decided she was going to stay home after all. Then she heard the footsteeps outside and knew Bella was home. She heard her soft melodic voice calling her from downstairs and with a huge grin she went to meet her sister-in-law.
When Alice met Bella for the first time she knew Bella was going to be her sister-in-law someday, though she kept missing the date of the turn finally the day arrived and Bella married Edward. It was one of the happiest memories of Alice. They had been best friends since the first day because Alice was able to see the good natured heart of her sister and the love she felt for Edward.
"Bella! So good to see you" Alice hugged her sister and smiled her most amazing smile. Bella was a beauty when she was human, now she was vampire she was even better. Her soft skin, her hair, all was perfect, just like all vampires were. Though Alice missed a little bit the chocolate brown of Bella's eyes and the way she blushed when she was ashamed of something. Things she couldn't miss of her own old life, the one she didn't remember. "What brings you here so early?"

Bella smiled as her sister wrapped her arms around her in a warm huge. That was one of the best things about Alice; she was always warm and welcoming. Besides Edward, Alice had been pretty much the first to accept that she was in their lives-for good or for worse. “Hello Alice,” She replied smoothly, taking a step back to take a look at the other vampire before her. Alice was always dressed to a tee and if she had her way Bella would be too. It seemed like a hobby of hers, something Bella always tried to stay out of as much as she could. “Looking wonderful as always.” She commented before answering the woman’s other question. “I’m actually here to talk to you about Nessie. I want to do something special for her for her first day in high school, and of course you were the first to come to mind.” With that said she knew Alice would be pleased with her. She loved planning invited, especially if it was a surprise. Bella could remember her eighteenth birthday party she had planned for here. Everything had been so detailed and elaborate it was almost to the point of ridiculousness. There had even been an entire cake and all of her guests had been vampires. Shaking the thought from her head she sucked her lower lip in between her teeth as she thought a moment. “Got any ideas on what we can do?” She asked at last when nothing came to mind. It was needless to say Bella wasn’t good at surprises. It was one of her many faults that had followed her to her through the change, but she couldn’t complain. She had gotten so much more and on top of that list was Edward and their child. She couldn’t ask for anything more than to be able to spend eternity with the ones she loved. Well, for the most part. Charlie wouldn’t be in her life much longer and neither would Renee. Their deaths were something she had been preparing herself for in the last couple of years. They were human and humans eventually died. “I’m sure you have some kind of idea floating around in that pixie head of yours.” She forced out as she once again cleared her mind. “You always do.” She said with a soft laugh.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • When Bella stoped hugging her Alice immediately fixed her eyes in Bella's clothes, frowing and shaking her head as if she didn't like what she was watching. Of course, Bella's fashion sense was completely different than Alice's and that always made Alice sigh. "Thanks for the compliment. You would have recived one if you allow me to pick your clothes" If Alice had her way, and it was very strange she hadn't, she would dress bella up everyday.
She had made a huge walk-in closet for her full of beautiful and marvelous clothes which Bella never used. Jeans and a t-shirt was her usual outfit. "I should have made dissapear all those jeans" But Alice forgot quickly about Bella's clothes when she mentioned why she was in the house so early. Alice was one of throwing parties, making big surprises and gave huge presents, that was the reason Bella was there.
"You know you came to the right person" Her smile became huge as she started to think of great ideas for Nessie's start at high school. Of course, a party would be the best idea but Alice was thinking of something bigger. "I always find something to do, and I think I found the best idea" Clothes in second row now on her mind a shopping trip to New York and Paris was Alice's idea.
"I'm actually thinking of something you wouldn't like much but I think Nessie will love. Oops, Reneesme" Alice corrected herself remembering Bella's hate for the nickname Jacob found for her daughter. "I'm thinking of a little trip to New York and Paris, a shopping trip so she would be trendy and fashion at school, wearing the best clothes"
Money wasn't a problem for the Cullen's family. Being immortal always help you to get money, money and more money. They never wanted to being the center of attention but their love for cars, houses and clothes was something they never thought of hiding. "I'm sure she'll love it more than a party" If they could take Nessie to the plane without her knowing it, it would be the best surprise ever. Waking up in a 5 stars hotel with views of the Eiffel tower or Central Park would be something Nessie will never forget.
